Fairfield Bay is an artist paradise. This is a great place to be involved with other artists or take art lessons of your choosing.  The small community college, a division of Arkansas State University, offers classes that include art lessons that are very affordable. There are also artist who give private lessons and an art association, the North Central Arkansas Artist League, that offer art workshops and other events.

The North Central Arkansas Art League, NCAAL, is an active group of local artists promoting the arts in their community and surrounding area. Whether you can be a beginner or a professional artist, everyone is welcome. Current membership is over 35 members from the surrounding area who meet weekly. Be sure to visit the Bayside Gallery in the Greenwood Building, next to the fire department, during the Monday meetings, or visit the Bay Gallery in the mall to view some of the local artists talents.
