The aroma of coffee and cinnamon rolls are the first thing you notice when you walk into Goodwin & Daughters in Fairfield Bay. Homemade, hot from the oven, can’t you just smell them now. One Fairfield Bay resident, Pat Drannon, says they make the best cinnamon rolls on earth at Goodwin’s. She jokes about it by saying she would be happy to die on Goodwin’s parking lot with a cinnomon roll in her hand and a smile on her face. Now that must be a good cinnamon roll.

Goodwin’s is one of those places that has a little bit of everything. You can gas up, use a very clean restroom, pick up some soft drinks and snacks, have breakfast or lunch, and buy some wonderful baked goods. More often than  not, you don’t have to wait more than a couple of minutes, and there’s always a smiling face to greet you!
