for winning the $10,000 Hole in
One Challenge!
Tom Fisher (kneeling) of
Fairfield Bay was either
skillful enough or lucky enough
to make the first Hole-in-One in
the Annual Chamber of Commerce
Golf Scramble on Saturday,
April, 19th. He used a 5-iron
on the challenging 165-yard,
uphill hole. The shot was worth
$10,000 through the National
Hole-in-One Association
insurance company.
Tom is a civil engineer for the
Arkansas Highway Transportation
Department in Conway. His
partners in the scramble were
Mike Howard, Barry Gunn, and
Clint Gunn, playing for the team
sponsored by First Service Bank
of Clinton. The Hole-in-One
insurance package was sponsored
by Heber Springs State Bank.
